About Dr. Meier

Dr. Meier is a licensed psychologist specializing in clinical, forensic and neuropsychology. Dr. Meier is licensed in California, New York and New Jersey. She has been retained and qualified as an expert on various civil and criminal forensic cases related to mental health (e.g., emotional damages), neuropsychology (e.g., Traumatic Brain Injury, stroke etc.), and sexual offending (e.g., risk of reoffending, sexual deviance and Child Sexual Abuse Accommodation Syndrome). She received specialized training in forensic psychology during an APA-accredited internship at New York University's Bellevue Hospital Center, and she completed neuropsychological training during her post-doctoral fellowship at City of Hope Medical Center. She has also worked within the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, the California Department of State Hospitals, New York Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Veterans Affairs (V.A.) Healthcare System. Dr. Meier has given numerous presentations and has published peer-reviewed articles in the areas of forensic psychology, policing and neuropsychology.
